The academic year in Australia starts in JANUARY / MARCH. There are three semesters in each academic year. Some institutions have intakes other than March, July & November. All Diploma & Certificate course starts every month.
Autumn Session : March to June ( Vacation: June to July -1 month )
Spring Session :July to November ( Vacations: December to February -2 months)
Admission to Business / Management / Information Technology & other curses are offered 3-4 times in a Year , while admission to Engineering & Science courses are offered usually in Feburary & July sessions only.
IELTS IS MUST FOR AUSTRALIA. REQUIREMENT FOR CERTIFICATE & DIPLOMA COURSES IS 5.5 Bands & FOR BACHELOR OR MASTER IT IS MINIMUM 6.0 BANDS. IN CASE OF LESS IELTS SCORES STUDENT CAN OPT ENGLISH COURSES ( ELICOS ) AVAILABLE BETWEEN 5 -40 WEEKS , DEPENDS UPON THE AVAILABLE IELTS SCORES . |

| Employment While Study : |
Student should not count on employment as the means for covering all your expenses while you are pursuing your academic program. Now student used to get work permit from Australia High Commission along with visa, but International students can apply for part work permission in Australia after getting registration of their course only.
The number of hours for part time work should not exceed 20 Hrs per week & during vacation students are allowed to work 40 Hours weekly. Student can apply for permanent residency after completing 2 years Diploma, 3 years Degree or 2 years Masters in Australia.
